The Terrace restaurant closes after 31 years

The Terrace in Inlet Beach has closed.

The Terrace made this announcement Saturday Dec 11:

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR WONDERFUL CUSTOMERS!

It is with mixed emotion that we announce the closing of the Terrace Restaurant after 31 years in business, we decided to retire. Due to our age and physical constraints, we find that we can no longer operate the restaurant with the energy required. We have enjoyed all our times with you and have many stories to tell.
We feel blessed and fortunate to have met and serve so many wonderful people from our community Inlet Beach and from all over the world alike. We thank you all for your support, patronage, and friendship.

So sad to hear. The true hidden gem of our area. Really the last standing pillar of old Inlet Beach, it has changed so quickly. Thank you for the great meals Thomas and Katherine. The Terrace will truly be missed

The food and service were great. Had some good times there with good friends over the years. Will miss the filet mignon with little fried oysters. And that coconut cake!
