Here is a multi-faceted approach to economic development that emphasizes diversifying our economy and bringing quality jobs to all areas of the county
1. Create economic opportunity zones in East DeFuniak and Paxton (low income areas) to encourage investment and growth.
2. Work with the cities to build infrastructure along 331 and 90.
3. Encourage workforce housing construction through tax credits and grants.
4. Work with the city of Paxton to develop an industrial park
5. Actively recruit businesses for all areas of the county.
6. Extend the TDC countywide and work with the cities to expand events to draw visitors
7. Develop a sports complex in DeFuniak to draw visitors.
8. Develop a transit solution for 30-A and old 98 to improve convienence and traffic flow
9. Actually do something to promote these items instead of talking about them for election purposes and then doing nothing after being elected.
