I enjoyed it at the beginning when the little boy was young. But as he aged it was not as funny.

that's probably because, when you're 8 and say something irreverant, then it's cute and funny....when you're 16 and say the same thing, then it's rude and obnoxious.

a good example was one of the older shows I watched last night (with Jake at about 8) where Charlie's mother got her lips "done", in which she looked like her lips were going to explode off her face......the kid, while sitting at the table with her, with his little kid face, innocently says "dad says that you got your butt injected into your lips....does that mean that if you burp it'll sound like a fart?!). Now THAT was funny! Had he been a teen, like the more recent ones, it would've been funny, but in a very rude way......

Could it be that life is imitating art. Lets face it he's turned into the uncensored version of his TV character.

When you remove all this boasting and bravado, he really isn't what I would call a great actor. In his two best movies, Wall street and Platoon, he didn't show much range or anything. He played a young naive guy, who learns a lesson in life, but still seemed to be playing himself, ya know what I mean? In 2 and 1/2 men, he's still playing himself, simply delivering basic sitcom lines ad naseum. Is this really the face of an "A-List Actor"?

no, not a great actor. but certainly a career he could be proud of and continue to flourish or flounder in, if he had any sense or gratitude.
