Hope all my neighbors in Arkansas and Mississippi are ok, it is really bad in the area.

And of course this weekend is Memphis in May Music Fest and thousands of people are down on the river.

I know Minnie. It never fails to rain during the Memphis in May Music Fest and most times it is the first day of it like today. My mother-in-law lives in Tippah County, Mississippi and they were under two tornado warnings. I cannot get her on the phone. I think the storms have moved on from here though apparently but I did still hear a bit of thunder.

Having tornado warnings just north of us in Tipton County and just south of us in Desoto County at the same time and all the mess in Arkansas also is too much. Supposed to be a pretty weekend though.

It's still storming here in Memphis. We are currently under a thunderstorm warning and a tornado watch, the tornado watch until I believe 2:00 a.m.!The rain is torrential, lots of lightning and thunder.

Mississippi is really getting the worst of it from around Oxford northward. This is when I don't like being home by myself, I don't like severe storms. Two of our news channels have preempted the normal tv shows reporting on the storms. They have been on for at least 3 to 4 hours. Hope our power doesn't go off. The thunder is literally shaking the floors here in the house.

Gosh, we have warnings out here and its been very windy for 2 days but I think it went North of here. I just had a spot of rain earlier in the day.
Minnie,ladyde stay inside and get candles ready! I know when my power goes its gone for at least 3 hrs or more,but I'm deep in the woods.:roll:
