While my wife and I were walking the Miramar Beach boardwalk this morning a car floored it from a dead stop barely missing us when we were half way across the marked pedestrian crossing.
We just threw our hands up and continued walking when the passenger in the following car lowered their window and yelled “fuk you!”
We try hard not to let the small percentage of a-holes ruin our appreciation of the local tourism industry.

Lotsa aholes out there.

I will say I hate it when people walk slowly through the cross walk.

The car had stopped for another pedestrian on the opposite side. We entered the crosswalk just after they did. I’m guessing the driver felt she didn’t stop for us.
We walk at a decent pace for around 40-45 minutes each morning.

My grandson works for a beach wedding service. Yesterday at Dune Allen they asked a couple of 50ish men with many empty beer cans at their feet if they would move their chairs for about 15 minutes so they could perform the ceremony and take photos under the arbor. The men became angry and verbally abusive so they just performed the ceremony around them. Visitors on the beach became upset with the men and tried to get them to move to no avail.
The bride and groom understood it’s a public beach and the men had no obligation to move so they continued with the 2 men as part of the wedding set up.

I have received another version of this incident and it seems the wedding vendor was being an ass and demanding the two men (locals) relocate.
I can sympathize with them since vendors sometimes think they own the beaches.
