This large piece of trash has been on the beach at Topsail for a couple of days now, and the ranger had to drive around it several times. It had been floating and finally washed up. Is there some reason the Ranger can't pick it up and put it in his ATV? Which also brings up another point of contention: The TDC has the nice little contraptions to erase their tracks, but other beach vehicles, like the park rangers, code enforcement, etc. don't, and they leave really deep tracks on the beach. Saw a small turtle near Stallworth try to get over one and it had to turn around and go back into the water. Just sayin'....

The turtle watch group is not allowed to do anything on the state park land. The park rangers bear that responsibility
shouldn't you request park rangers stop making deep tire tracks that a turtle WILL not cross?
