There is a massive house being built on the beach before the Gulf Shops access that is supposed to take another 2 1/2 years to complete. We have heard that Snoop Dogg owns it but then heard it was a businessman that owns 30 McDonalds. Does anyone know?

As a general rule, no matter the size, very few houses (Hilton house aside) that take more than a year to build are terribly managed or owner makes tons of changes.

We talked with a woman who stays in the winter in the condos which are now behind the house being built and that's the time frame they were given for construction completion. I thought it was ridiculous myself. It looks as if the basic wood that is in place is already taking too hard of a beating from the elements.

The only house in that area, matching the description is the one that almost "fell" into the gulf with the big rain a couple of years ago.

Water from rain and possibly from Gulf Place itself, flooded the area and the place fell...

I believe there is drainage still from Gulf Place and if you look on the beach, this house has a small pipe, actively dripping/running water from it, on to beach.

That's why sand is brownish there.

Code Enforcement was out there this week for something.

Believe there may be a law suit in there somewhere too.
