sounds like two different things. trying to 'download' or 'attach' ?
to DL an image right click and use Save Image As
to attach, right click and use Copy Image Location
click on this icon
in reply window
new window with Please enter URL of your image will appear. Paste image URL there and hit enter.

Maybe try "uploading" the pic. (just teasing)
There is probably a sticky thread on how to upload photos to SoWal.com, but I'll give it a shot again.
go to "member photos"
click "upload"
under "upload file from your computer," click the "browse" button and find your pic and complete the title and category info remaining.
Click "submit."

If you are simply wanting to paste a photo found elsewhere on the net, you don't post it in the photo albums. You paste it directly into a thread. In another window, right click on your image you want to paste, and select, "copy image location." Back in the SoWal.com window, click "post reply." In your "post reply" box, click on the yellow icon with the mountain logo. A new box will pop up, and in it, you simply click your cursor in it, and paste (Ctrl V). Wha-LA!
