When the girl asks the boy to the dance, who pays for what? Does the boy give the girl flowers? I asked my son this. I don't want to wait 'til the very last minute and all he** break lose because we didn't order flowers, etc. He said he THINKS he's not supposed to buy anything. But I thinks he does, or even should!
I asked my young (cute) male physical therapist this a.m. and he said yes, the boy pretty much just goes ahead and pays for everything other than the cost of the dance ticket. I have no problem there but I'm still curious. What has eveyone else experienced?

would you guys believe my sister and i have never, ever fought ? we have never even passed harsh words between us. i would be crushed if my sister ever got mad at me. barring her hatefulness during both pregnancies of course ;-)
I wish I had that relationship with all my sisters. I have 3 sisters and I'm only really close with one. I don't fight with the others, but we aren't close either. I always wished my daughter had sisters. Not her, she is crazy about her brother. She always was. When he moved away I worried more about her than him. She was a wreck. He is her first memory and her best friend. They did everthing together. She even gave up a scholarship because she wanted to be closer to home for his senior year activities. She was the one taking all the pictures on his prom night. He gave her away on her wedding day. I loved your story of your sister on her first day home, it reminded me of Beth and Drew. It never went away, she mothers him even today. She said he's the best gift I ever gave her. I have made myself all teary, how silly am I????

And me too.
I was blessed with a brother and a sister. I wish I could say that we never fought, lord, eek: , my bro was very ornery. My sis is 5 years younger and she was just an annoyance to me growing up. Stealing my clothes, hanging around when I had friends over, and anything else just to get a rise out of me or get me in trouble. I am the middle child and always played the mediator. I love them both dearly and am probably closer to my sister now. ( Jackson and Delaney's mom) I just found out my brother is most likely moving to N. Carolina .
He has always been 10-20 minutes away and I'm not sure how I'm going to feel if he moves. Even though I'm grown and married, I've always felt like he would protect me from anything. He scared all the boogie men away when we were little and he also scared a few away when I was dating.
It does make me sad to know that Sam won't have a sister and Dylan won't have a brother but I guess they don't know what they're missing right? They rarely fight. Just last week in sunday school, Dylan was supposed to make a thank you card for someone and he made it to his sister. ...Thanks for being nice to me sometimes. SoWal Insider

It had candy attached to it so I was really impressed that it even made it to his sister.

Someone needs to move.
Darlene is my middle name, not my nickname
I think I mentioned in another post a while ago, that I got to share a womb and a room with my twin sister. We are very close and lucky enough to live pretty close to each other.

I came from a private womb.

i see my sis every 3-4 months. i used to keep trying to get her to leave her hubby and move over here with us, but them she started reproducing so there's no chance of her leaving him now....i will say one thing for him tho - we may not get along that well but he is one good dad to those babies, and he's good to my sis, so that's all that matters.

there are no hospitals close to where she lives, only a cvs which would be ok for my hubby, but i could not work retail pharmacy - i couldn't be with the public that much - someone would get hurt.....

I understand completely. I'd hate to have to deal with the public in need of drugs. Let's face it they already don't feel good and you are standing between them and what they want. I'd sort the meds by who I wanted out of the store first. Birth control, antibiotics, and hypertension meds can wait. My rule...anti anxiety, mood disorder patients are NEVER kept waiting.
*Disclaimer: Not that being on these meds is bad. Please take no offense if you are taking these. I've needed some myself once upon a time, in a land far far away... before I discovered margaritas.
