On Sunday March 24th 2024 at 9:00 am, PC Dive Club presents the most unique Easter egg hunt to ever hit Bay County. An underwater Easter egg hunt! Scuba Divers and snorkelers from the local tri-state area will descend upon Carl Grey Park to search for that special egg that will win them great prizes.
Easter eggs will be placed underwater throughout the underwater area. There will be prizes from local area businesses awarded in several different categories such as "Most Eggs Collected", and "Most of one color". Prizes include items such as a one year membership to the dive club, adult t-shirts, gift cards from local area merchants, and scuba-related gear.
"This event is a great way for our organization to help spread the word about the sport of Scuba Diving while having some great fun, and prizes. We want to encourage people to come out, and enjoy the beautiful resources Bay County has to offer, but most of all to encourage people to get out and be active. While this event is designed to be a fun event, we will have an environmental preservation aspect. We will have a requested donation of $5 per participant and all the donations will go directly to Gulf World Marine Institute's Turtle Rescue program. So everyone please bring your mesh bag to collect both eggs and any trash you find around under the waters of our beautiful state park." said Charles Cromer, President of PC Dive Club, Inc.
