Very sweet shih-tzu needs a new home

I need help finding a new home for my 1-1/2 yr old shih-tzu. I have an ad posted under the classified ads but don't know how many people will see it.

We have had him since he was a puppy along with another dog and the other dog has totally dominated him now. I don't know how to remedy this other than finding a new home for him.

Would the SoWal people please spead the word and see if we can find him a good home?

Did you look at the ad I placed for him in the classified section? Just wanted to make sure that you knew I was selling him( just to re-coup for the last few months expenses). He is very sweet and friendly but is so dependent on my other dog. I feel that he would be fine with another family.

I keep getting offers from people from out of state (up north) but I really would like to keep him in the area so I can meet the potential new owners in person and possibly see where he would be living. He really is a sweetie, the vet staffs and groomers all love him and say how good he is. Please check out his picture in the classified. He is a beautiful dog.

I would not pass your pup along if you can't meet the people in person. I would also talk to premocleaning who seems to really want to add this breed to her family. Never mind about recouping expenses. I have a Shih Tzu and she is the sweetest! Please make sure yours gets a good home and you check anyone out who may get him.

"Rehoming fees" are usually just a way for people to move puppy mill puppies. There's quite the backlash in the rescue world when people do this.
