Vetsulin for diabetic dog

I've known for some time that Vetsulin was being discontinued, but our vet has continued to supply us, so I've sort of lost track of the situation.

Now, we learn that they have no more in stock. They say they are going to put us on some kind of program where we'll get some, but it's probably going to be a couple of weeks. Meanwhile, we'll run out today or tomorrow.

Anyone have some they can share?

Or, maybe relate your experiences with a substitute, if you've already changed?

Have you contacted all the other Vets in the area to see if they still have some back in stock?

Not sure if there is a difference

We get insulin for our pup directly from the pharmacy.

I am not sure what the difference of vetsulin from the insulin we buy?

It is like $60 a vile from CVS.
