I'm considering renting a home for our beach vacation in the Village @ BMB. Has anyone stayed there and how difficult is it getting to the beach? I know it's north of 30-a and we'll have lots of little ones in tow!

Walking will be a little bit of a challenge since you have little ones in tow and it is at least 1/2 a mile to the access. That being said they just rebuilt the parking and added a restroom at the beach access at the south end of County Road 83 which is closest to you. It has over 20 parking spots so maybe a short drive will work for you. As for the Village itself, I like the pool and bar area.

i live here permantely in the village and have two little ones myself. There is a deeded beach access in redfish circle that is ours, but i prefer the one on 83. its never crowded and the new restrooms they built are nice. It is a short drive there in a car or cart, biking is good also, but i wouldnt walk if you have little little ones. I dont know if you have a house picked out already but i have lots of friends that own the ones in here so let me know if i can be of more help! :D

I'll be down there next week from Atl for a week. It'll be me and my wife, newborn, 2 small ones, and 2 grandmothers (one with reduced mobility). Do you know of a web location that has a 'site plan' for VABMB? I wanted to try to get a feel for the location and the differences in the 2 beach accesses you mentioned above. It sounds like the rental people over-stated the "easy beach access" when I was renting. Any help would be greatly appreciated obviously. :D

Thanks!
