This jeep was called the "Blue Goose" and was the best in a long line of beach 4WD vehicles. My grandmother, Babo, is behind the wheel in front of my cousin Maunsel White's, house.

Wow! Memories!

We had a surplus M38A1 jeep that we painted white. I used to drive it from Santa Rosa to Grayton Beach at night as well. Mattered not if a lake was flowing. We'd go right through it with the water flowing through the jeep. Sadly, it burned up on the beach around 79-80. I still find myself looking for one to buy. There are plenty out there. Grayton had such a great eclectic collection of beach buggies. I miss 'em!
