VKI Japanese Steak House and Sushi Bar

We had lunch at the new VKI Japanese Steak House and Sushi Bar across from Louis Louis on Highway 98 yesterday. It was wonderful. The food was delicious, the service was great and the decor and ambience were very peaceful and comfortable. Hope everyone will support this great addition to our dining community. The Dynamite California Roll was to die for!!!

We had lunch at Lin's in Sandestine and found out they are the same family that has opened VKI. So I am sure it is going to be quite good. Looking forward to our trying VKI.

Almost tried it the other night but they seemed too busy for what we wanted. I really can't wait to try it out.

Finally tried VKI...had to do take-out and I must say it was great! Their website has their phone number wrong so that would be my only complaint. We ordered the Sexy Roll, Kamikaze Roll, Hawaii Roll, and the Yumi Yumi Roll! Two thumbs up!! Give it a try and you won't be disappointed

We finally got to VKI for lunch today and it was really very good. We had the hibatchi shrimp and hibatchi scallops. I am not a real scallop fan but tried them and they were really tastey. The shrimp were very good and all the food extremely fresh. Rita was our server and she was truly outstanding. Can't wait to go back.

We've been to VKI twice for dinner already and both times it was fantastic!! Hibachi style.

Good food and very reasonably priced. A hibatchi dinner that includes soup, salad, rice, grilled veggies, and variety of seafood and meat choices is less than $30.

The hibatchi is not as good as Osaka, but still delicious and no driving to Destin!
