We have entered our school's garden in the Share the
Good grant program offered by Seeds of Change®, an
organic food & seed company that helps teach people
where food comes from by donating 1% of sales to
support and develop sustainable community based
gardening and farming programs. We would like to ask
for your help in supporting the Seaside School during
the public voting phase of the application process.
Each person has the opportunity to vote one time per day
until May 17, 2013 at www.SharetheGoodGrant.com
through a Facebook account; you can find our application by zip code (32459)
or "Seaside School Garden" in the applicable field.
After May 17, only the top 50 applications that receive the most
votes move onto the judging phase for a chance to
receive a $25,000 grant or one of 15 $10,000 grants. The
grant recipients will be announced on or around June
4th.
We think this is a great opportunity to not only
encourage everyone to work together to support our
efforts to Share the Good but also a chance for our
students, parents and larger community to rally behind
our great school.
