Some of my girlie friends and I decided to meet at the Vue on 30A for cocktails and a bite to eat.
We had heard the unfortunate controversy the Vue has endured in the past and decided we were going to check the atmosphere and menu out ourselves.
The restaurant was like walking into a Hollywood scene in a movie. It was absolutely beautiful and so different compared to the other restaurants South Walton has to offer. We were greeted by the hostess with a smile. Because it was a little too hot outside we decided to sit in these wonderful contemporary chairs in the bar so we could enjoy the decor.
We just happened to have arrived during happy hour which starts at 3:00. Great prices I might add.
Looking over the bar menu we chose several appetizers to share including lobster spring rolls, tempura portobello fries, sesame crusted tuna, and tempura battered shrimp which were priced from $8-$13.
We were having such a great time enjoying the decor locals and tourist started coming in for dinner. Before we left the chef Giovanni introduced himself and asked if we had enjoyed our experience. The food was delicious the place is wonderful, and over all we enjoyed ourselves very much.
If you have an opportunity to have a few drinks and a bite to eat my suggestion is go to the Vue on 30A, you won't regret it. Don't forget the most beautiful sunsets are coming up and what a view the Vue has!
