Walton County Burn Ban Lifted Mar 15

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY --- The burn ban for Walton County has been lifted on March 15, 2022.

Walton County Board of County Commissioners, Florida voted Tuesday morning to have the ban rescinded, after it was put in place on March 5, 2022.

South Walton Fire District continues to ask the community to do its part in preventing wildfires in the coming days. Use increased caution and awareness with any and all instances of outdoor burning.
