Walton County – Nov. 6, 2024 – The
Public Works Department is making
significant progress on various
projects to improve infrastructure
throughout Walton County. Here are
the latest updates on the ongoing
initiatives for the week.

CHAT HOLLEY ROAD (District 5)
The Drainage Crew will do some
additional work on the pedestrian
crosswalk upgrade project.

HARRISON ROAD (District 2)
The Stabilization Crew continues their efforts on Harrison Road to prepare for
paving. Harrison Road is a significant Capital Improvement dirt-to-pave project
and is 1.59 miles in length.

BAY LOOP ROAD (County Highway 83A East) and FOUR MILE CREEK
(District 4)

The Bridge Crew will begin to install some additional riprap at the boat ramp on
Bay Loop Road and Four Mile Creek.

CR 30A (District 5)
The Paint Crew are prepping to stripe a new LSV lane at Alligator Lake on CR
30A. They will also do some additional work at the intersection of Sea Oates and
Blue Lake and install a stop bar on Blue Mountain Road while they are in the area.

CR 30A (District 4)
The Asphalt Crew will begin maintenance patching in the Oyster Lake area and an
area at Stallworth Lake.
