The Walton County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on January 12, 2016, at 4:00 p.m. at the South Walton Annex, located at 31 Coastal Center Blvd., Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459.
The hearing will be held amending ordinances 86-18 and 98-23, establishing the initial Tourist Development Tax and the third cent Tourist Development Tax, as amended by ordinances 91-5, 91-9, 01-12, 94-14, 97-38, 00-19, 02-01, 04-06, 07-98, 08-33, 09-11 and 14-02, which address collection issues, prior tourist development plans and updating the previously adopted Walton County Tourist Development plan with anticipated revenue and expenses for the 24 months beginning Jan. 1, 2016.
