Want to Avoid Political Phone Calls and Mailings?

The real crime comes when the SOE official says that I cannot leave my phone number blank on the party affiliation form. She said that I must include a phone number. So I did. It isn't false, nor misleading. If they really want it, they can call the number (information) and get in touch with me. (Heaven help them if they have to work for it. They must have never heard of google.) Last time I checked, signing up to vote didn't require voters to have phones. ;-)

Awfully bitter for someone who's only 41.

BTW, your phone number isn't required by the SOE or Florida Statute. Did that person also tell you to register Republican so you can vote?
