Passport Parking System effective March 1 - November 30

ATTENTION HOMEOWNERS & GUESTS

New signage is in the process of being installed in Town Center in preparation for the launch of the Passport Parking system on March 1st. The Passport Parking system is a new parking management program for WaterColor Town Center. There will be seasonal parking restrictions from March 1st through November 30th annually.

As we near the launch, more information will be shared with the community. If you park in Town Center between now and March 1st you DO NOT need to launch a session in the Passport Parking App.

Is that the same app that Seaside uses? We haven't needed it because we either stay at Seaside or take the ride from Grayton. (We returned to Asheville NC recently and were going to go to our favorite breweries. Paid parking. My husband ran into the restaurant to see how many people were in there and NO customers. Might be different response on 30A.) Thanks! Ellen

It is the same. I was in WaterColor yesterday and the only place I saw the passport signs were on the south side along the green across from the merchants. The merchant parking has 3-hour parking signs.

It's probably to keep remote renters from hogging parking to go to the beach club.

Paid parking doesn't bother me. I don't really visit beach towns during crowded seasons much. But if needed I'll do it just as I would when visiting any other town while traveling etc.

I also have no problem taking the trams to Grayton Beach or Seaside. Pretty convenient.
