Does anyone have any ideas on a place to have a wedding that is more green than beach? My daughter is getting married next fall, and they want to have it somewhere in the trees instead of the typical beach wedding. They have thought of Eden State Park, but trying to think of something more original than that. No more than about 75 people will be at the wedding...reception will be bigger. The wedding and reception do not have to be at the same place, but if anyone knows of something for more than 75 that would work for both, would truly appreciate some info.

I can't think of any place off hand but Eden is a sure fire winner. Check out some of Kurts photographs. They should be able to sway anyone...

Check out Santa Rosa Beach Club!

Check out the Santa Rosa Beach Club for a ceremony site, reception site or both! We're not quite as green as Eden, but we do have a great view of the Gulf, a beautiful "backyard," a covered terrace for an indoor/outdoor feel and great food! It's your beach wedding without the not-so-pleasant beach elements like sand in your shoes or crazy wind-blown hair. You can see a few photos at www.santarosaclub.com or visit our Shutterfly album to see lots of different options as well as what past brides have done. You can even drive away on a golf cart at the end of the night!

Christine Walker is our Wedding & Special Events Coordinator and she can be reached at 850.267.1240 or christine@santarosaclub.com.

Happy planning!

Naturewalk has a very natural setting. It would be the cost of bolt cutters to get in.
