As a fine citizen of the great state of Alabama, I cannot tell you how embarassing this is. For those who want a lesson on real Southern politics, I strongly recommend attending a legislative session in Montgomery.

As a former fine citizen of Alabama I can also say that this is embarrassing but kind of entertaining when you think about it. This kind of thang happens everywhere. Wasn't there a video out about some fightin' Japanese a few months ago?

Oh, I know that, I just thought everyone would like to see how they stack up against one another for the duel.

Which one would you put your money on?
I'd put my money on the crook. :funn: Oh, wait a minute. They are both politricktions. I'll go with Sen. Barron. With a name like that, it just sounds like he would be a good fighter. Remember the Red Barron? Plus, Sen Bishop was just too angry and angry people often lose fights to the non-angry. Did you see the way Sen Barron, rolled back with the punch? Look at his face while he is lying back on the desk. He doesn't look scared at all.

Watching the video, I think it is interesting to notice that many other politricktions are just continueing, business as usual, like an argument and thrown punches take place on the Senate floor everyday.

BTW, Lowell's brother spent time in one of Alabama's country club prisons for embezzlement and was still named Rainsville Alabama's Citizen of the Century by the Rainsville City Council. Good ole boys politics at it's greatest.[/quote]

Now, my favorite cousin that lives somewhat near Rainsville said she knows this guy and after he embezzelled people's money and so many people were almost forclosed on, he got religion!!!

And if you have never been to a funeral in Rainsville, Alabama, it is almost like they play the "Deliverance" music in the background - I have never in my life been to anything like it before & hope to NEVER go again - honestly!!!
