I've voted in every election in South Walton since 1983. I'm a life-long Democrat. I've change my affiliation twice just to be able to have some effect in the Republican Primaries in this county. It would never occur to me to not vote because I didn't like either candidate. Politics and governance is a game of slowly pulling the Titanic an inch or two to the left or right to avoid the iceberg. Sitting on my hands is not an option.
We can agree on the bold.

My feeling is many of them may truly be better able to do the job of leading the country. Many are unelectable in my opinion based on their policies. Could I vote for Biden or Klobuchar, sure. It would be easy for me to back my Union and support Biden but at this point I can't. I could say that I like Klobuchar for many reasons. My issue is that I have to know they can win or I would rather find a third party. For me it isn't always about the win, but about seeing a need for a choice. To that point, I know I will not vote for the President and as I said the one I am more than likely to vote for today may not make it out of the Primaries. As for explaining myself, I wish I could be as cut and dry as Leader, Poppa and you, but in the end it is my vote and I am not one to be bullied or shamed into something. I look at my options, I find someone I can believe, even if I don't agree with everything. You're overthinking it.

This "Sharpie Incident", while chocked full of comedic content, is a scary reminder of just how insidious the Trump presidency is. He has managed to corrupt and instill doubt into another one of the most foundational institutions of our government, The National Hurricane Center. He has shown his blueprint for doing so. All he has to do is get leverage on one official in that department to lie for him, and he has successfully sown conflict and doubt inside that agency. He has already done it in FBI, CIA, DOJ, DOD. He now has the military doing personal errands for him and diverting huge sums of money, from Tyndall recovery funds among others, for his ego-wall, and who knows what else. The corruption is truly evil and heart-breaking.

Bob, I'm just curious. Do you consider Biden to be too progressive? Biden seems centrist to me. I think Warren's ideas of reforming the financial system are almost radical (but very, very needed). I think she would make a good president, but has some deficits in the karisma/likeability category. All the Democratic candidates seem very intelligent, thoughtful, and articulate. If you like coherent sentences, vote Blue!!
If you can't spell, vote Blue like me?? It's "charisma".

Wow! I misspell one word in 40,000 posts and I'm the stupid one? And you people condone a president who can't read a weather map, and has no director of NSA (he just fired his 4th one) and no Secretary of Defense. Remind me again, who is stupid?

And that article was a week ago and doesn't count Bolton's departure. There are, at least ten major positions that are held by "anybody", not confirmed by Congress, with no security clearance. That's not counting all the second echelon positions, which, also, are not filled. The US Government is decimated. The replacement for NSA is a toss-up between Amarosa and Putin. AM I JOKING?

… and furthermore, I AM NOT WRONG ABOUT THE SPELLING OF KARISMA! I choose to spell karisma any way I want to spell karisma. Lots of good people spell karisma my way, bigly. Let's just say karisma is an ALTERNATIVE way to spell karisma, and if anyone disagrees, you're fired!

DeVos will issue a memo backing you up. Our schools are now at a point where teachers are telling students “I don’t care what the president says that is incorrect.”

Ahh...a product of Common Core before there was a Common Core. (I'm sure you are pre-Common Core)
Because even though 2+2=4, Common Core says 2+2=5 if you FEEL like it should. All about "HOW YOU FEEL" with the Smurfs. (you know, you BLUE people)

OKALOOSA ISLAND — A homeless man went on a vandalism spree Monday and caused an estimated $30,000 in damage to vehicles, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, Justin James Wilson, who is 30, damaged at least 20 cars that were parked at the Holiday Inn Resort on U.S. Highway 98 on Okaloosa Island.
Witnesses said Wilson used rocks and a belt buckle to smash windows and beat the cars.

Farm Bailout Money May Be Disproportionately Helping Rich Farms Get Richer
The payments technically are part of what’s called the Market Facilitation Program, or MFP, which includes the bailout money as well as various risk-mitigation and insurance payouts. That has all meant an awful lot of money floating around: the EWG found that 82 farmers collected over $500,000 in MFP money in 2018-2019. Deline Farm Partnership, in Missouri, collected a whopping $2.8 million. (Deline has not responded to requests for comment from the Southeast Missourian, a local news source.)
In comparison, found the EWG, the bottom 80 percent of farmers received less than $5,000 each.
Further analysis from the Farm Bill Law Enterprise showed that the MFP money has disproportionately gone to white farmers—99.4 percent of MFP payments went to non-Hispanic white farmers, while estimates indicate that 95 percent of American farmers are white. That difference gets more stark when you drill down: in Mississippi, says Farm Bill Law Enterprise, 14 percent of farms have a black principal operator, but only 1.4 percent of Mississippi’s MFP payments went to black farmers. The USDA, for what it’s worth, has a very long history of discrimination against non-white farmers, even settling a lawsuit in 2010 for $1.25 billion.

Trump is right, Kavanaugh should sue for “liable.”
The man is obviously innocent so he should take this to court and question witnesses to prove to everyone he never shoved his dick in women’s faces.
