Firefighters are responding to reports of a fire at the Whale's Tail restaurant, a popular beachside eatery and bar at Seascape in Walton County.
According to scanner reports, firefighters have requested mutual aid from fellow firefighters in Okaloosa County to battle the blaze.
Also according to the scanner, the restaurant has been evacuated, and the caller who reported the fire to authorities couldn't stay on the line because it was "too dangerous."
