I've met James Brown. Daddy and Mama used to go to Vegas from Atlanta every six weeks because Daddy liked to gamble. They always stayed at the Flamingo, and obviously he was a high roller there. On one of my trips with them, the management heard that I was a James Brown fan (I love black music, always have). So we were invited backstage to meet him. It was awesome!
