When is the next Walton BCC election?

When is it and what districts and who is running? Thanks I feel lazy today but want to vote when it comes around.

The primary is August 30. If no Democrats or Independents run then that primary will be the de facto general election. District 1 (Chapman), District 3 (Imfeld), and District 5 (Meadows) are up this cycle. All 3 have pre-qualified to run for re-election and all three have republican challengers pre-qualified: District 1 (Fletcher), District 3 (Dixon) and District 5 (Anderson.)

Danny, last I looked, Commissioner Chapman had 3 challengers David Kramer, Bill Fletcher are Republican and Richard Bryan no party affiliate.

You are absolutely correct Bob Wells, I forgot Mr. Kramer had pre-filed and was unaware of Mr. Bryan. James Bentwood, if Mr. Bryan qualifies as an NPA then you would need to be a Republican to vote in the District 1 race in August. As it stands now everyone can vote in the District 3 and 5 races, however, this would change if a Democrat or NPA candidate qualified in either race. Also remember that there are no run-offs anymore. The first place candidate in August wins the seat unless a Democrat or NPA candidate qualifies. In that case the seat would be won in the November General Election.
