Misc Who else does short term (>3 month) rentals during the Summer?

Hello - I'm doing some research and wanted to get some input.

I have a 2 bed/2 bath fully furnished home across the street from the bay on the Freeport side. We're entertaining the idea of renting between Memorial Day and Labor Day in 2020. Not super interested in VRBO or AirBnb, I would rather have 1 tenant for the whole summer.

Who else does short term rentals during the summer? Is it hard to find people interested in a 3 month rental? All advice (the good, the bad, & the ugly) is greatly appreciated!
