why would a post on service be deleted?

It depends. I am sure we will read about it in the paper if we want to.
I deleted 2 posts with the painter's name in big bold letters implying that he, or one or more of his employees, engaged in criminal behavior. When you have the whole story, PLEASE - feel free to post.
I want to know both sides before throwing stones. Don't you?
BTW - I have never heard of the painter. It should be easy to call the WalCo Sherrif's Public Information Officer and get the reason for their action.

Here is the story.
Dennis Lee Scandrett of Dennis Lee Scandrett painting was in involved in a dispute in SeaCrest on the morning of Wed the 22nd of Nov and the police were called after Dennis himself started screaming words that didnt match any description to the English language at the family.
After they were asked to leave Dennis Lee himself told the owner that he would "F$%# up the rest of the house more than he already had and then tear down his ladders and walkboards" it was then that Walton County Sheriffs were called.
The sheriffs showed up and Dennis Lee and his crew left.
Also,the owner of the home paid Dennis Lee in full while the officer was present.
The company is based out of Panama City, Florida.

That doesn't tell us what the dispute is or what started it. Sounds like if the painter threatened the homeowner then that was wrong. Are you the homeowner or were you there? Was it a neighbor or friend? What is your source?
If you have a problem with a certain person or a company you need to give us the full story as you know it to be true.
Also, I will delete damaging posts aimed directly at a certain person or company if they are not on the board to defend themselves. I've done it before and will do it again.
At any rate, there is no need to post the same thing in several different forums. That really makes it look like you have an axe to grind. And if that is the case, you should just tell us what the problem is if you are looking to gain something.
