Winter Blast Check for our Northern SoWallers

How is everyone doing with this Winter Blast up north? We just had a rain shower pass through SoWal. Will take a walk on beach later this morning. Hope you have already made your winter trek to your southern SoWal home.

It seems like the whole upper half of the country is getting hit but us. Here in Cleveland it is in the low 40's. Windy and a little wet. I can take this weather for the rest of winter. Thanks for the concern.

Here in the Chicago area it's cold, temp is dropping like crazy, windy, snowy, icy roads and tonite we will have a low of 6 with windchills tomorrow at around below (yes that's below) 20. We can't wait to leave for our winter in sowal., but must wait to leave until Dec. 31. Wish us luck!

ditto here. It is getting pretty, pretty horrible. Icy, frigid, icy, snowing like a mofo, icy. blustery. I have a couple of Australian Shepherds I volunteered to walk tonight and tomorrow. Not looking forward to that. I'm afraid I'm gonna fall and break a hip.

My son is in New Orleans and he said today that it was a beautiful, sunny 70 degrees.

40 mph winds here with a wind chill of 25! Fortunately no accumulating snow. 25 is the high for tomorrow. 70 degrees sounds fabulous!

Relatives are reporting more than a foot of snow (yucky heavy stuff that challenges the snowblower) and no power all night and most of the morning.
