Plus, I must be a glutton for punishment as I offered weeks ago to host/chaperone sixteen 16yr. olds at our house for NYE. At least I'll know where they will all be but I'm already exhausted!

Okay I admit... I am a bit jealous of a housefull of teenagers. The laughter and fun cannot be bought. It is just too good! One of my girls left today....it gets too quiet for me.
I know, Im already dreading the day my son leaves for college. This is one of the reasons I don't mind hosting these parties. On the other hand, Mr. JR is a great guy, couldn't be a better dad, but he gets a little uptight and tense with a houseful of teens around. And they're good kids! Not wild, out of control kids. I keep telling him, "it's just a few more years, then it'll be so quiet."
I don't know about you, but after my week-long 'vacation' I was ready to go back to work and relax.
