I went to school with Haynesworth knew him fairly well...while his actions in Sunday's game were unexcusable, he is not a thug. He is actually a very respectable family man. His actions were clearly out of frustration; frustration from being the only player worth a damn on the Titans' entire defense. At least he was man enough to give a heart felt apology after the game. That entire organization is in shambles right now and the whole situation is sad. While I am in no way condoning his actions, I just wanted to state that he is not a thug.

Well I for one do not want to be in a room with him, if he is frustrated. Couldn't he have just thrown his helmet down or something instead of stomping on the head of a player that had done nothing to him?

He could have and should have acted differently...the 4 game suspension without pay that is going to be handed down to him later should teach him that lesson

I think criminal charges should be brought against him...it was a violent act pure and simple...(just my opinion :D )

I don't care if he was frustrated or not. He should be kicked out of the league and spend time in jail for assualt. I'm sure plenty of his UT buddies would be there to keep him company.

What kind of cleates do they wear in the NFL? It's like he dug in and drug it right through.

As for the prothro thing...it was in some magazine called Shock. It's sick and twisted. Is he walking at all yet.

I can't even watch that. ugh...

I haven't heard much about it lately. I do know that he got a staph infection following the surgery to repair the damage, and that it caused yet another setback in his full recovery. President Bush even sent him a letter telling him how much of a loss his injury is to College Football.

Haynesworth has had some issues with temper and attitude with the Titans in the past. He needs to go to anger management classes and become a professional. Glad he is being held accountable for his actions. The Titans need less renegades and more team players. Maybe Vince Young can make a difference in the next few years.
