The last time I checked I believe Tennessee is a part of the SEC, so there's your sign. You are right though, I don't have to like Florida, but even I can give props to Florida even though I might not like them. Tennessee deserves props for being down by 2 touchdowns & a field goal & coming back with 44 points to beat the Georgia Bulldogs on their home turf. I know not everyone will be happy with the outcome of the game. But give credit where credit is due, Tennessee did mount a huge comeback & I think they deserve a pat on the back.

My sign? That was a joke about Tennessee. :dunno: I'm a Florida fan so I don't have to give Tennessee props, ever, just as I would never expect a UT fan to say anything nice about the Gators. Again, all in funn.

I didn't watch the whole game last night, but when you have nearly 90 points on the board that means there wasn't a lot of defense on either side.

I didn't watch the game, but I am with you, TFT. I would never say anything nice about any orange-colored team, even if orange was only half of the team's colors (I know those weren't your words, but you know what I mean about talking nicely about rivals ). Last Saturday, when I was over at the Indian Pass Raw Bar for lunch, Gator tried to get my table, all DAWGS, to say Go Gators in order to get served. We politely refused, and he gave us sh_t all day, but he respected our love for the DAWGS, even though he wouldn't say so. This Dawg doesn't roll over for anyone. ;-)

When I was about 12 or 13 I found the cutest red and black swimsuit and proudly showed it to my dad, who told me to take it back because it was Georgia colors. So I'm with ya, even if I'm not "with" ya. :D

Look, any team with orange and blue as its colors is going to have some fans who are over the top. Personally I LIKE red and black (my living room is painted a color that's a cross between Georgia red and FSU garnet  and even as a child I thought orange and blue was garish and tacky. But so is purple and gold. I get over it on game days but happen to love the throwback helmets they wore vs. Bama.

I have always envied GA fans at the UF/UGA games dressed tastefully in their red and black while we look like Halloween in our orange and blue.

Although being a Gator, I have gotten pretty obsessed with the color orange. I have orange dishes at the beach house, orange pillows, an orange fur jacket, a diamond watch with an orange strap, etc. My sister is also a UF grad and is obsessed with orange. She special orders orange M&M's to put in her candy jars, has an orange expresso machine, etc.

Not to metion...Hermes boxes border on Gator blue. Not quite Auburn orange.

I forgot Tennesse even played yesterday. They've kinda become the step brother in the SEC. We were excited to rotat them out and Florida back in for the sheer fact that we have more funn with the Florida game.

Oooh, nice. Vera Wang did some stationary with a border that looked pretty similar. Auburn has the better orange-blue combo in general though. Back on topic, Tennessee's orange reminds me of a creamsicle. :rotfl:

Hrmmm.... wasn't alot of defense on either side. All in fun I don't have a problem with at all. Now one thing I will say, how many points did Georgia have in the second half versus Tennessee's second half points? Tennessee with 37 & Georgia with 9. Now granted, there might not have been alot of defense on Georgia's side in the second half versus Tennessee's. But the numbers don't lie, Tennessee's offense & defense were on fire in the second half. Its been over 10 years since any team has scored 50+ points at Georgia's turf. Last one to do it was Florida in 1995, 52-17. Tennessee fans might be nice to Gator fans & vice versa if there was some self respect from both sides. Problem is that no one wants to be the first to say it. I know UT & UF are huge rivals, but at least the players can bite their teeth & say good game instead of throwing punches or trash talking after the game is over. Funny thing is fans from both sides of the stands when it comes to UT & UF are just as hardcore as the players are. Neither side wants to budge an inch.
