There were 3000 pumpkins, but here are some of my favs. These were all done with pumpkins these scenes and they were much bigger than you can see. There were also pumpkin totem poles, pumpkins scenes in the trees of bats, and ghosts. There was a very beautiful aquarium scene that was about 100 ft in width! They had a mushroom scene too. It was very cool.
I will put some in SoWal gallery and if anyone wants to make tars out of them, be my guest. :D (Except the skeleton ones! )

Wow Mango! These are fantastic. I can barely carve one with the little traingles for eyes! :funn:

Thanks for posting them. Did the nephew have a good time?

Thanks. Yes, he had a good time, but got sleepy towards the end and had to be carried out. It was about 9:15 when we finished.

these are spoooooooky!!!

I was at a party the other night where the hostess had made beautiful flower arrangements using pumpkins as vases. adorable. I'm going to steal this trick!
A friend of mine went to a wedding in October and the arrangements on the tables were inside of pumpkins! She said it was beautiful!

Those are really interesting, such detail. I hate carving pumpkins, they are much tougher than they look. I wonder if a dremmel (sp?) tool would make it easier?
