Same here. I'm starting to like it a little (in small doses that is) but I'll be darned if I can tell most of them apart! The men all wear black hats and the women are all blonde. From what I can tell.

It's bluegrass I like best. :clap_1: I guess that's country too, but it's my kind of country.

I LOVE movies/stories about Lorette Lynn, Johnny Cash, etc., but could have never been a fan of the music. But, I have to admit, after watching the movie I wonder what I've missed.

Mermaid, I don't know if you are PUI, but thank you. I really do think Faith Hill is gorgeous and the night of the CMA Awards, I told hubby, if I could look like anyone . . . it would be her. I do hope I am a more gracious loser though.

I agree, but I do find myself listening to a lot of 'new' country, too. I'm an equal opportunity listening.

Something new that makes you feel like you're listening to something old: Shooter Jennings. He's fantastic. Especially when he covers his daddy's "Lonesome, On'ry, and Mean."

you absolutely right no one in bluegrass looks alike and the music is so different
