I didn't write that for me. I wrote that for anyone who might want to be a part of things, but feels intimidated by the intimacy on this board. The friendship and closeness that you all feel is a wonderful thing, but it could be a little intimidating to someone new. I'm just saying that if you are going to organize something on a public board, you shouldn't post exclusions. Do it through a private message if there are people you don't want to include. I'm not trying to bash anyone, just stand up for people who may not feel like they have a voice.

For safety and security reasons we can't be giving out our addresses to people we don't know. Sorry!!!

You didn't offer your name and address to people you didn't know, you asked that they send their's to you. If they trust you enough to give you their's, you should trust them enough to give them a fake one. I'm not asking you to risk your life, I'm just asking for a little diplomacy.

I protest! I can't spend hours of creativity on making an ornament for someone I don't know. My artistic muse works only when I have a sense of who the recipient is and what they're about. You can't make me donate anonymously!!!

Note to self; Count mermy out of the celebrity charity auction. Damn, her fans were looking forward to bidding on her handmade ornaments. We could have raised enough funds to keep the children's hospital going for at least a year.;-)

I catch your drift about the privacy issue OL. Just try to be more clear in the future if that is truly what you meant. I still think it wouldn't be a bad idea to be a little more discreet if there are people you wish to exclude. Just my opinion, and you know what they say about those.
