Cool. I'll be in Cottonwood Heights--just north of Sandy between Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. That is where I grew up! I can't wait and there should be snow on the ground when we get there. A bunch of little Florida beach bums can't wait for the snow!

I bet the altitude and 0% humidity has a small effect on y'all :funn:

ok, you ski pro's....my DH is getting the fever really bad, but I've never even seen that kind of snow!!! Where is the best place to do a REAL beginner's trip???:dunno:

Keystone & Breckenridge are great family resorts and I have been to both. Park City is awesome especially for beginners and very easy to travel to. We are going to Steamboat in March and I've heard it's a great family resort.

The first thing will be gigantic boogers because of the dry air. I think the cold will have more of an affect than the altitude. After 5 years of living in Florida and 7 years of living in Tennessee before that, I get cold when it is 65 degrees.

Take moisturizing nose spray...I needed it so badly in NYC!

I agree that Park City is a great place for beginners and a cool town to visit.
