I'm so glad you like it. I'm married to a steel salesman, and believe me, we had long discussions on this....but in the end, I decided any of our orginal ideas woulda' weighed about 300 lbs. sooooooo....wire it was.

Ocean Lover gave me a hand-painted ornament with the whole family on it! An adorable snow family with Rob, Deirdre, Alex, Fyl, and even Daisy (and special kudos to you, OL, from Philippa, for using her nickname ). I don't like it, I LOVE it!

Oh, and do you notice but OL even sent us a box of traditional Christmas ribbon candy (you remembered from last year that I liked it!) and it's already been nibbled on. A lot!

I had no idea it was your first "beach" tree (just knew you were Beachmom and tried to come up with something "beachy.") And yes, a little angel helped me - she is definitely the artist of the family and maker of many ornaments on our tree!
