Better update your website. Seeger's, located in Buckhead, was just purchased by Tom Catherall, and is now "Posh." Seeger's was by far the best restuarant in which I have dined -- every aspect! Sad to see it go.

I second that. It was amazing. I am very sad that I won't get to go again -- but It was so expensive, It's not like I got there very often anyway! Tom Catherall does good things -- so I'm curious to hear the buzz on Posh.

I've had some major issues in my life recently. The restaurant website, as well as more important aspects of my life, have been neglected.:sosad:

Glad Seeger's is gone. I hated spending that much money for dinner and feeling so hungry afterwards that I was tempted to walk the two blocks to Johnny Rocket's for chili-cheese fries.

:funn: When we would go, we would always stop off somewhere else for heavy apps, so when we finished the seven course dinner with paired wines, we were never hungry. Sometimes, you just have to ignore the price and live a little.

I hear ya. I remember once when I ordered scallops there and got ONE SCALLOP. I'll admit that the ONE SCALLOP was really good.

One of my favorite Atlanta chefs is Paul Luna. He is so creative. I've actually cooked with him in his restaurant kitchen a few times -- so much fun, and I learned many cooking techniques from him. But he's a little "Luney" - I've been to his restaurant when he's stripped down to his apron and maybe a pair of shorts.

I have only ordered the pre-fix menu with paired wines, and I know the Scallop to which you refer. We were always sure to ask for plenty of bread and butter. ;-) No matter, it was still by far one of the best restaurants (food, atmosphere and service, esp the service) in all of the south east.
