I don't even want to report this one. we watched Jackass II with uncle timmy tonight.     yes, we laughed hysterically throughout the movie. but it was the sickest, grossest, worst movie ever ever ever. amen. anyone else have anything to add?

You have to look at JackassII's *extensive* Special Features!
It's a good hour of more delightful, highbrow entertainment!

Continuing in the vein of sick humor, there is always
Team America, World Police.
"America
F*** Yeah!"
Definitely not one to watch with the kids. I saw it in the theater, but then rented it--the DVD has added scenes.
My older son refused to let me see the "sex" scene.
You know you're getting old when your own kids censor what you see. ;-)

If you want mindless fun, we really liked Superstar with the Sat. Night Live comedian who plays Mary Catherine Gallaher -- Most fun for Catholic girls to watch.

We also liked Tallahega (sp?) nights with Will Farell.

Dodge Ball was great, too.

All of the above are really mindless fun and offer some belly-laughs.

If you want to bring out the old country Italian in you, I love "The Night of the Shooting Stars" (WW2 in Tuscany seen through the eyes of a 6 year old girl) and "Cinema Paradiso" (best ending in a movie, EVER) . But you'll need to have the energy to read the subtitles.

Other good movies -- "Bend It Like Beckham" and "Monsoon Wedding" (wedding story in India).

My youngest child had her first "real" job in that movie...she even got a check!! One of her favorite life moments. She was called to work more, but chose to go to class.:clap_1: For a while, I was not certain which she would choose.

I guess I'm turning into a prude in my old age. Huge South Park fan that I am, I bought the uncut, unsensored version of TAWP, and whoaaaaa bessie, I could have lived without seeing those extra 8 seconds. What a crapshot!:funn: :funn: :funn: :puke:

dka:drink:

guess I have to break down and watch JAII.

just remember... I did NOT recommend this movie in any way. I would love to hear what you think of it though. especially the parts that involve live poo poo and vomiting and scrotums stuck to ice, etc.

Overall, I thought the first one was funnier--I laughed harder during that one. We've been watching JII this week in installments; I think I might have thrown up had I watched it all at once. :lolabove:

Toots, let me know if you want me to drop off any of the following movies: Good Shepherd, Sideways, Vanity Fair, Closer, Memoirs of a Geisha, 50 First Dates, Under the Tuscan Sun or Last Samurai.

we watched some of the first movie, then switched over to II. watched all of II and lived to regret it... in a good kind of way, I guess.
