Fresh Market ? a ?food destination store? ? opens in Destin on Feb. 21. The specialty neighborhood grocer says it offers high quality food including ?brightly colored? fruits and vegetables, freshbaked goods, meats in butcher-style display cases and a seafood department. There?s a section with imported wines and cheeses, a floral department and an area with ready-to-serve foods with rotisserie selections, sushi, salads and sandwiches.
?The Fresh Market is a very modern store, grounded in old-fashioned values and designed for the senses,? said chief operating offi cer Craig Carlock.
The 22,000-square-foot store opens to the public at 9 a.m. Wednesday. The first 1,000 customers will receive a sample bag of coffee. There will also be sampling stations throughout the store.
The store is at 4495 Commons Drive West, Destin.
Hours are 9 a.m. ? 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
