I didn't say I did it.

BTW- being pro choice and "for children" (which I assume means concerned with their education, health, and welfare) is not contradictory- apples and oranges. You just gave me a headache.:bang: ;-)
Well, I guess that makes sense. ;-)

I think Goofer said it well. The race for political office has turned into a popularity contest. The issues and solutions must not matter, because no one wants to talk about either. Just give me money. :bang:

 I'll agree on that SJ! At times it does seem like its all about charisma  and personality:roll: rather than intelligence and experience. Sorry about your HA:bang: but after checking out the Incovenient Truth thread this am, it just hit me like a ton of you know what bricks?*#%!

Wouldn't it be something if someone like Mr. Al Gore would announce a plan to be her running mate!:clap_1:

Wouldn't that be the absolute diggity if he made that announcement on 7/7/07 at The Big :D Green Concert?! ;-)

Here are Hillary's issues. I apologize for taking soooo long. http://www.ontheissues.org/Senate/Hillary_Clinton.htm

Very impressive page, wouldn't you say? :clap_1:
I especially like her gun control stance "Keep guns away from people who shouldn't have them." Wow...what insight! Another goodie..."Reduce air pollution to improve children's health." Out of the box thinking like this might just well put her in office!

SJ...... I am not an optimist on our political system's future.

We are getting what we deserve. We are a nation consumed by Anna Nicole , Brad and Angelina, George Clooney, both Jennifers, Lindsay, Britney and Nicole. American Idol, all the reality shows, and the latest gowns at the Oscar's.....this is our new culture. We get our news from the internet, the blogs, the biased cable stations, and the tabloids...all in less than a 15 minutes. No one reads newspapers, let alone books. Where is Ed Murrow, Huntley and Brinkley. Howard K. Smith ( I have a hard time with Smith versus Stern ) Cronkite, Sevareid, and Chancellor. We have O'Reilly, Geraldo and Greta now. Thank God that at least we have Russert, Schiefer and PBS, but that is about it. The American people will snooze until around October 2008, after the World Series of course, and will vote for the candidates George Clooney, Babs Streisand, Sean Penn, Susan and Tim , the Dixie Chicks and the other "celebrity gurus" endorse. That is if they even decide to vote. I will repeat myself...We are getting what we deserve.

While a lot of this is true...hollywood is the last place where I look for my vote.
