Well I'm trying to get a hold of BB to let her know about it, copied and pasted DD posting in an email and left a phone message, but looks like she's a step ahead of me.
I have to drive up to B'ham tomorrow morning. 30gAy- I just got a new car too, Can you ride shot gun with your hair dryer and protect us from the hailstorm? I have an adapter for AC/DC. No pun intended.:funn:

Well, dd, I actually thought about you last night while I was flipping back and forth between the 4 local channels (until Fox 4 vanished)- the last time my car was hail damaged was in Grapevine while visiting friends. It was a week BEFORE the big one in '95- my red Plymouth Sundance looked like someone had taken a ballpean hammer to it. And the one time hail broke out a window in our house there in NRH, the hail actually bounced off the ground, broke into huge pieces and hit and cracked the window. We lucked out, here in "the Sticks" but I was watching it!
, he went out and threw himself on his car. But, he didn't stay long...hail got too big. Lady, hope your family here is ok. It's been pretty widespread and sporadic damage, so hopefully, they dodged the bullet. You be safe too where you are.
...HAIL, this is even more terrifying reading it sober!!!!! So glad you are safe. Of course we had a bunch of new plants installed before we left! Hope they just got a good soak and not golf balled.
