We didn't discuss who owes what if Blake wins, which he won't, but if he does, I say neither of us owes the other a scarf.

Blaze of Glory has to be my favorite song of the season, followed closely by This Ain't No Love Song! That was the "I'm telling you what song" last night of Stayin Alive. Didn't want to make me dance, but I did want to shout and say H--L Yeah! You go Lakisha! I'm hoping for Melinda to win it all!

I know you are right, as Ryan called it 4 weeks ago. Randy was on Conan last Friday, told everyone Lakisha was going home then. There is a rumor that travel arrangements had already been made for Lakisha, prior to the show.
I am just kind of sad how it all works. The article from Tony Bennett, telling Simon that he didn't agree with how cruel he was to the kids and that he should open clubs to develop the talent and get exposure without the extreme cruelty and Simon's response? I'm too busy making money! I don't believe Tony had the flu that caused him not to sing. I believe he is a genuine, musical genius and the fact that his opinions were in opposite directions from Simon's, he felt he had to respectfully bow out.
That said, I'm still going to see the tour and hear them in person. I hope they all do well, which I believe they will. Some words you just can't take back, though!
I know that I don't enjoy it as much as I did when Taylor won or the year before when Carrie and Beau were in the finals. I don't love any of them like I have in previous seasons. I like Jordin, but I won't be rushing out to buy anyone's CD. (More money for the next trip to Sowal

Seems AI has drained America's talent pool dry. At least, the pool which would be willing to sell their future performance rights. This is evident by two things; first, this years talent is woefully lacking and second, last night did anyone else hear AI is looking for BANDS now instead of just singers?
