I believe you might be on to something there, 2bgundian123. I bet you are right with that thought, just like God doesn't like all the sin in New Orleans, so he sent Hurricane Katrina there. He probably dropped his protection of the land in Florida, and allowed forest fires because they sell liquor here on Sundays before church starts. I bet he also dropped the protection of California from Earthquakes, and forest fires, because they voted to legalize pot smoking. Yes, I definitely think you are on to something there.

:rotfl:

You forgot about God not being for the Cowboys because their cheerleaders wear skimpy outfits! :D

Gundee I guess they think your me.

Thank you for your comment. For those who might not think otherwise, gundee123 and 2bfabian are two different people.

As many of you can see, I recently joined this site. I am the originator of 3 threads (Is Tithing Money; Roles of Husband and Wives; Taking Prayer Out of School). It has been a privilege for me to both comment and read the comments of others on various emotionally charged issues.

I have really learned a lot from reading the perspective of others. As we delved into different philosophical issues, I will always be respectful and sensitive to the opinions and beliefs of others. At times, I may appear inquisitive, but only to ascertain if the person have considered or questioned other perspectives. If at any time I might offend anyone, please let me know.

2b, thank you for giving me a chance to clear up any misunderstanding about us being one in the same person.

You seem very mean. Taking prayer out of schools has lead our country into deep troubles and it is showing by mass murder in schools. Little teenager girls are wearing inappropriate clothing, and teenager boys are being lured into looking at the girls, and look at the pregnacy rate in teenagers in the poverty levels of society. God is talking to us but your to blind to see it. Thanks you for allowing me to voice my opinion. I appriciate your comments.

Problem with that argument is that the teen birth rate has dropped steadily since the 1970s.

http://www.childtrendsdatabank.org/indicators/13TeenBirth.cfm

"Birth rates among teen females ages 15 to 19 declined by more than a third between 1991 and 2005, from 61.8 per 1,000 to 40.4 per 1,000. (See Figure 1) Declines since 1991 are also evident for younger girls (ages 10 to 14), decreasing from 1.4 per 1,000 in 1991 to 0.7 per 1,000 in 2005 (based on preliminary estimates). Among teen males, the decline began after a peak of 24.7 per 1000 in the early 1990s, a few years after the adolescent female birth rate began to decline, and was 17.0 per 1,000 males in 2004*. (See Table 1) Declines for non-Hispanic black teens have been particularly large, with the birth rate among teen girls ages 15 to 19 declining from 118.2 per 1,000 in 1991 to 60.9 per 1,000 in 2005 (based on preliminary estimates). (See Figure 1)"

America has become a much safer and civilized place since the 1970s. However, safer and civilized doesn't get much in the way of ratings for the 24 hour news channels, so the newsies do their best to puff up the bad news, even if the bad news is extremely rare.

Go look up the numbers and then watch the televised hysteria that totally disregards what's really going on in the country.

Thank you for your data research. I appreciate the opportunity to read it. I did not know that the young girls stopped getting pregnant. Do you think it happened because the Republicans allow teenager girls to get abortions? I do.

Dear dinf,

I guess if anyone is mean it's me. Please forgive me if I have offended you because this is not my intent.

I hope that I speak for all that are on this message board that even though we may often times disagree I believe none wish malice to any on this planet. :welcome:

I do hope you like this site and realize there are many good people on this message board. Some are just a little bit more sensitive than others but I believe also that none are really as bad as they seem.

:clap_1: I like a man who can oppoligize but I wasn't talking about you. I agree with your thoughts. I have been reading a lot of your posts and find them very accurate, and you are sincere and apologetic and people are mean to you. They need to have more respect like you. Thank you for welcoming me into this message bored. Everyone else seems distant, but you my friend are warm with cheer. I needed a strong spirt like yourself after reading all of this other anti-Jesus stuff. Prayer needs to stay in schools to teach our young ones how to behave, and I also think that the teachers and principles and coaches need to be punishing the kids with some paddles and washing out there moughths with soap. That's the way mine did it, and I grew up just fine, and better of a person because my coach straightened me out fast with a big pattle with holes in it. It only takes one beating and you will walk straight from than on.
