Memorial Day plans

What's everyone's plans for Memorial Day??? If I cannot get my husband to go to Big Hill Pond State Park this Saturday, I will try for Monday if he is not having to work. There is an almost mile long boardwalk and a 70 foot tall observation tower, I want to take a picnic lunch along and walk the boardwalk throughout the park which runs hopefully along the lake and the pond. There supposedly is an abundance of wildlife there. And it is supposed to be 88 degrees here Saturday but a chance of some rain Monday I think. And it is no more than probably an hour or an hour and a half drive.

My son is coming home for a visit. We're doing the cookout and hanging around the pool thing. The rest of the week I am on vaca in the backyard. YAY!

audie, I am curious. Do you prefer 3rd shift, or would you like to work days? I know when I had to work 3rd shift, it just about killed me. :shock:

Looking forward to the pool opening Saturday, cook outs with family and friends. I hope the weather is nice, I think it's supposed to rain. Wish I could send it South where y'all need it!!!!!

I'll probably still be doing laundry and sorting through all the mail. sarafunn's bday is Friday and I'm hoping for some bbq ribs a la Mr. K!!!
