Memorial Day plans

We are coming to the beach! YEAH! Leaving early in the morning (4 am). We can't wait. We will be there through next Saturday.

I will be stuck in a gym for most of the weekend. My daughter has a volleyball tournament Sat, Sun and Mon. So much for enjoying the sun on a holiday weekend.

OMG! Where are they staying?! I will look for them! I am not always in pink, but always have my pink cell phone! Tell her to look for the tall loud blonde!!! Would love to catch up with the funn bachelorrette's!!!

i saw on the travel channel that atchison kansas is the most haunted town in america - is that true ?

My husband and everyone else where he works have to work on Memorial Day. But that will be a nice chunk on everyone's paycheck as they will according to him get paid double time and a half. I always thought it was double time on holidays, but maybe not. So I will be alone at home on Memorial Day. Hopefully I can talk him into going tomorrow to the state park. The only thing is, the shortest route is the same way we go to his mother's. And we are not taking an 81 year old woman with us that is short of breath and cannot walk a block. I want us to do things without him thinking we have to include her all the time. And this park has an .8 tenths of a mile boardwalk through what is called dismal swamp. The picture on the tnstateparks website looks neat.
