Thanks for asking--I've only been able to browse posts for a few minutes every other day or so, not enough time to jump into anything and talk! My parents are here for two weeks for graduation and 500 race, and now my brother and his brood are here as well. I have company until mid-week. Philippa's graduation was great funn (really, no joke). And I'm liking seeing my family. Alex had a very bad accident with his hand two weeks ago and has had to have surgery and several doctor visits in between, so I'm really grateful that my mother and sister-in-law have taken over my kitchen. I've been kinda frazzled worrying about Alex and the cooking here has gone downhill because my mind hasn't been on it. But that aside, we've just been enjoying ourselves and keeping busy sightseeing and stuff, and I haven't been able to visit with my SoWal family (but you know I miss y'all). I'll be back next week I think but I'm so happy no one forgot me!

What?? I thought they were totally tight?

They *were* tight. I was thinking they'd get engaged soon. They had even named their kids. But there were photos of him with a woman that he works with posted on Facebook. How stupid was that? He said there was nothing to it. Turns out that there was. Beach Jacket broke up with him and never returned his or his mother's calls. The breakup was for the best for reasons I can't go into. She seems a bit lonely (plus it's a pain to make arrangements to go out on the weekend with friends instead of having a boyfriend around), but she doesn't seem sad at all.

BTW glad you're okay, Mermy, but sorry about Alex. Graduation time is very hectic, especially with out-of-town guests.

we don't go to gatlinburg until june 10, the kids are sure looking forward to it, well my nephew is, my niece is too little yet to know what the heck she's getting in to....
