1) Villa del Balbianello - took a fabulous tour with the greatest guide. This was a private home built by a Cardinal of Rome. The late owner bought it from a member of the Heinz family. It was a film location of Star Wars 2 and Casino Royale...neither of which I have seen. :roll:

Villa d'Este...home of the rich and famous...and of the Kitties one day for lunch. This was one of my favorite meals. Stuffed zucchini flowers and grilled wild lobster.

So sorry the camera went kaput. But, you get the idea...it was a once in a lifetime experience!
